What are the chances that the leader's wallet would surreptitiously slither out of his pocket on the second pitch? OK. They're pretty good; I forgot to stash it in my harness pack. But what are the chances the second would see a strange object and fish it out of a crack with a nut tool? I don't know, but I'm sure glad for Jeremy's natural curiosity!
