Avalanche Rescue Fundamentals Course

On Sunday, Jeff and I ran an AVY class for SAR, fire, NWS & NFS personnel from LA, Orange and San Bernardino counties. Trying to wrangle 100+ student was hard, and doing it in front of our National Avalanche Advisor was, perhaps, a bit nerve-racking. It was a beautiful day in Wrightwood.
